The New York County Lawyers’ Association recently held a program on How to Conduct Legal Research on the Internet. The session highlighted the New York State Library (NYSL) Attorney Borrower’s Card that offers databases to New York lawyers for free. The databases include JSTOR, Congressional Universe, LoisLaw, and ProQuest. Here is a full list of the NYSL Databases. These would be expensive, but NYSL makes them free for New York lawyers.
Every attorney who is a New York State resident who is admitted to practice in New York should sign up for this service! Law firms are eligible too. Signing up is easy.
